Speeches

Currently our students are participating in class and ELIP class, speech competitions.

For the students in the ELIP, its a daunting task to speak in front of their peers in their second language.

In class we have been working on identifying what makes GREAT oral language and have been using the Flipshare videos to capture, share and critique their work.

The students have done all the filming themselves.

In class we will view the files and give each student feedback both positive and things to work on. From here the students will organise their own individual speech (the one they used in class is ok) and present it during ELIP class.

The teachers will choose the top 10 best speakers to perform in the finals at the end of the term.
