Today many ELL (English Language Learners) learnt all about the "Scientific Method".

The new words we looked at were...

Aim
Prediction or Guess
Method
Results
Conclusion

We did a variety of experiments and wrote them up following the scientific method.
The experiments were - floating and sinking, adding salt to make something that initially sinks - float and paper plane design.
One group even got the chance to work in the school science lab.
We also discovered STEVE SPANGLER - a really cool scientist who posts some exciting experiments on YouTube.
Check him out...
